The NHA’s National Certification exams are developed by healthcare educators and allied healthcare professionals working in their various fields of study. Due to the constant change in healthcare job descriptions and technology requirements, the NHA works very closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). These experts are constantly reviewing and amending the examinations and certification requirements every year. The basis of all NHA exams are adapted jointly by The American Education Research Association (AERA) and The American Psychological Association (APA). Both organizations are part of the National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME) which set the standards for Education and Psychologicaltesting throughout the healthcare industry.
