The technician-to-pharmacist ratio can be 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 if approved by the board. [FL Practice Act 465.014, FL Board Reg. 64b16-27.420]

Can the ExCPT be Taken?
Yes
Any registered pharmacy technician registered before January 1, 2011, who has worked as a pharmacy technician for a minimum of 1500 hours under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist or received certification as a pharmacy technician by a certification program accredited by the the National Commission for Certifying Agencies is exempt from the requirement to complete an initial training program. Senate Bill 1360. The ExCPT is NCCA accredited.
