Requirements: [Ph 803.01]

1. Applicant must be at least18 years old or have a high school or equivalent diploma, or be working to achieve a high school or equivalent diploma;

2. Be of good moral character;

3. Shall not have been convicted of a drug-related felony or admitted to sufficient facts to warrant such findings; and

4. Shall have training or experience as determined by the pharmacist-in-charge.

Renewal
Required

Applicant must contact the pharmacy board to obtain an application at pharmacy.board@nh.gov or call (603) 271-2350 and submit the renewal application ($25) to the pharmacy board annually by March 31st. [Ph 806.03]

Training
Required

Pharmacist-in-charge is responsible for administering a training program. [Ph 803.01]

The National Pharmacy Technician Training Program can be used to meet the training requirements.

Can the ExCPT be Taken?
Yes

Certification is completely voluntary and ExCPT is recognized by the New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy. Nevertheless, ExCPT certification provides national recognition of your knowledge and skills and may make you more marketable.
