1. Initial registration must be submitted within 30 days of employment.
2. Applicant must submit an application ($25) to the pharmacy board.
Renewal
Required
Applicant must submit a renewal application ($25) to the pharmacy board annually by October 31st.
Training
Required
Pharmacist-in-charge is responsible for developing, implementing, and periodically reviewing written policies and procedures for training and utilizing pharmacy technicians appropriate to the practice of pharmacy. [SD Board Reg. 20:51:29:16]
The National Pharmacy Technician Training Program can be used.
