Why new exams?
It is important as job duties and expectations evolve that we regularly complete job analysis surveys and make adjustments to our exams to ensure they adequately reflect the job responsibilities and expectations of employees in these roles. In 2010 and 2011 job analysis surveys were completed. The results of these surveys were used to update the test plans for each certification exam. Based on the updated test plans we work with subject matter experts to write new questions for each test, and subsequently release the new exams.  The updated exams will not only be more in line with actual job practice, we believe the quality of the questions will be significantly improved as well.

New test plans/study materials
To effectively prepare for the new exams the new test plans and updated study materials should be leveraged. Exams taken prior to the new exam release should leverage the current test plans and study materials. Exams taken after the new exam release will leverage new study materials.
