EKG Content Experts Needed
The National Healthcareer Association is currently seeking content experts in an effort to form a committee, comprised of four practitioners and two educators, the responsibility of which will be item-revision assistance and examination review for the Certified EKG Technician (CET) Examination. Members of this committee will be working on a volunteer basis.
A 2-hour item-writing and review training workshop will be offered and conducted via Web conference and phone for those selected to participate. Please note that to participate in this Web conference, individuals will need to have access to both a telephone and a computer that has high-speed Internet access. After the initial training, members of the committee will then receive examination questions for revision. Upon completion of these revisions, the committee will reconvene to finalize the items, after which time, an examination comprised of the revised items will be assembled. A third meeting will then be conducted for final committee review and approval of that examination.
The committee will assemble during the week. If, due to individual schedule conflicts, full-day meetings are not possible, several half-day meetings will be necessary. Therefore, an uninterrupted commitment of at least 3 to 4 hours at a time during the week is required.
Those eligible for participation must have at least 2 years of experience in either electrocardiography or a related field. For those interested individuals, please e.mail your curriculum vitae to ce@NHANOW.com, attention: EKG.
