Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT)
As a CPT, you’ll draw blood from patients or donors in hospitals, blood banks, or similar facilities for analysis or other medical purposes. You may perform some or all of the following duties:
- Assemble equipment and disposable containers for needles
- Test for drug levels in the blood
- Look for abnormal cells in the body and body fluids
- Conduct patient interviews and take vital signs
- Perform basic Phlebotomy procedures
