As the Dean of Education at Stevens-Henager, Stanfield is always looking for ways to give his students that extra advantage in the workforce. The more his students know, the better they are in their field, and the more likely they are to find better jobs that sustain them. Before joining Stevens-Henager three years ago, Stanfield spent 34 years as a high school educator, as a principal and coach. The competitive spirit he brought to coaching clearly comes through in his academic advising.

Stacked Credentials: A Winning Strategy

Stevens-Henager was founded in Ogden-West Haven, Utah, in September 1891 as the Intermountain Business College. The College offers degree programs in healthcare and modern business, and has nine locations throughout Idaho and Utah.

The healthcare programs at Stevens-Henager offer all NHA certifications, including Phlebotomy Technician (CPT), Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), EKG Technician (CET), Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) and Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
