“I wanted a career where I could do work that was meaningful, but also be able to support myself financially. Being NHA certified has helped me prove to employers that I had not only a certain level of knowledge in my field, but also the dedication it took to do that extra step.” - Maggie Moss, CCMA, CEHRS

What does renewal mean?

Every allied health field is constantly evolving with new job duties, regulations, and employer expectations. That's why certifications require regular renewal with continuing education requirements. Certification renewal is designed to keep you current on changes in your job and the industry as a whole.

Renewal is designed to help certificate holders maintain the highest standards of care. By completing the renewal process, you are demonstrating that you are using the latest protocols and techniques to ensure safety and efficiency in the workplace.

Who needs to renew their certification?

There are many reasons to remain current. If you are working in allied health, or plan to pursue a career in the future, it’s wise to stay current on your certification.
